Position Summary:
Catalyze people group adoption by awakening families, churches, ministries, and networks to the reality and urgency of frontier peoples. Expand visibility, communication, and mobilization efforts to move audiences from low awareness to active exploration of people group adoption.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities (dependent on skills of applicant and strategic needs of the organization. Could include tasks such as the following):
- Develop and strengthen a clear awareness and mobilization system for the ADOPT program.
- Develop and distribute introductory tools, campaign messages, presentations, stories, and awareness resources.
- Engage churches, ministries, denominations, mission leaders, and networks to promote frontier people group adoption.
- Communicate the biblical, strategic, and practical importance of adoption in ways that move people from general concern to intentional response.
- Support campaigns, briefings, and follow-up communication to increase adoption interest and participation.
- Provide monthly reports to the Director of Adoption on work activity and progress toward goals.
- Maintain required levels of ministry support through regular time in ministry partnership development.
- Ensure that privacy and security is maintained in conversation and information exchange.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage others toward mission engagement
- Ability to speak persuasively to churches, ministries, and networks
- Ability to organize campaigns, follow-up systems, and communication flows
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new methods of production and presentation
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in computing and MS Office suite
- Knowledge of online communication tools, email outreach, and digital engagement
- Participate in additional work training as deemed appropriate
