Adoption Prayer Catalyst
Position Summary:
Catalyze people group adoption by building rhythms, tools, and relationships that strengthen sustained intercession for adopted frontier peoples. Mobilize prayer networks, equip adopting partners in focused prayer, and encourage long-term spiritual ownership that supports gospel breakthrough among the unreached.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities (dependent on skills of applicant and strategic needs of the organization. Could include tasks such as the following):
- Develop a prayer mobilization system connected to the broader ADOPT strategy.
- Develop and distribute prayer guides, updates, intercession tools, and communication rhythms for adopting partners.
- Build and nurture relationships with intercessory prayer networks, churches, ministries, and prayer leaders.
- Encourage consistent prayer coverage for adopted frontier peoples.
- Help adopting families, churches, and organizations establish practical prayer rhythms and accountability.
- Support prayer initiatives, online gatherings, campaigns, and briefings that connect prayer to adoption progress.
- Provide monthly reports to the Director of Adoption on work activity and progress toward goals.
- Maintain required levels of ministry support through regular time in ministry partnership development.
- Ensure that privacy and security is maintained in conversation and information exchange.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage others toward prayer and mission engagement
- Ability to build and nurture relationships across prayer networks and ministries
- Ability to organize communication and follow-up for distributed prayer partners
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new methods of production and presentation
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in computing and MS Office suite
- Knowledge of online communication tools
- Participate in additional work training as deemed appropriate
