Introduction / History

Bangologas are a subgroup of the greater Bakgalagadi tribe. They migrated into Botswana and settled in the Kalahari Desert. Some live in Namibia today.

What Are Their Lives Like?

They are farmers and pastoralists. When they are lucky, they find wild game to eat.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Though most identify with traditional African religion, nearly one-third of the Bangologas are Christian.

What Are Their Needs?

There is only a New Testament in their language. Global Recordings Network and Faith Comes by Hearing have some audio tools, but they need much more.

Prayer Points

Pray for the Lord to raise Bangologa Christians who will spread a biblical message through drama and music.
Pray for Christian radio broadcasts in their language.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to do miracles in Bangologa families, drawing many to the Lord of lords.
Pray for the Lord to give them abundant rain so they can enjoy a good harvest and grass for their livestock.
