Introduction / History

Phuthi is a small Bantu tribe that only lives in Lesotho. They speak Swati.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Phuthis are subsistence farmers in Lesotho. They eat porridge made from the sorghum and millet they grow. They also raise chickens and goats for their meat. The men fish and, whenever possible, hunt wild game.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Almost all Phuthis identify as Christian. They have a complete Bible and many audio and visual evangelistic tools.

What Are Their Needs?

Like all people of rural Africa, Phuthis live far from emergency medical care.

Prayer Points

Pray for the Lord to draw Phuthis to become a powerful mission force in Africa.
Pray for the Lord to provide for all their physical and spiritual needs.
Pray for them to put all their hope and faith in the Lord Almighty.
Pray for the Lord to bless Phuthi churches with supernatural healings and brotherly love.
Pray for Phuthi husbands to love their wives like Christ loves the Church.
